When checkout reopens
These terms will apply to consumer and business orders for downloadable LatticeSearch subscriptions through this site. Read the software licence, privacy policy and cancellation and refund policy with them.
The advertised prices are Pro at £5.99 a month or £49 a year (Founding Pro: £29 for the first year, then £49 a year), and Weave at $19 a seat each month or $180 a seat each year. Pro prices are in pounds sterling and Weave prices are in US dollars. Antonio Jacquaye is not registered for VAT, so UK VAT is not added. Any other compulsory charge and the total payable will be shown before the order button.
When checkout reopens, you will choose the plan, number of Weave seats and monthly or annual billing. The final checkout screen will show the plan, seats, billing interval, renewal terms, currency, every compulsory charge, total price, exact compatibility information and cancellation rights clearly and prominently, directly before you place the order. The order button will say Subscribe and pay or use another equally clear statement that placing the order creates an obligation to pay.
Stripe will process payment on its hosted page. The exact point at which Stripe will charge you, and the latest time by which the download, licence key and paid entitlement will be supplied, have not yet been fixed. Checkout will not reopen until those timings are fixed, tested and stated on this page and at checkout. We will send an order confirmation that you can keep. It will repeat the contract information, the compatibility and functionality table shown before payment, the supply timetable, and any consent and acknowledgement given for immediate supply.
Compatibility and functionality
| Item | Information for the build offered on this site |
|---|---|
| Operating system and architecture | The Windows installer requires Windows 10 or later on an x64-compatible computer. Exact supported versions and architectures for any macOS or Linux build must be shown before that build is offered. |
| Hardware | No NPU is required. Supported work has a CPU path. A compatible GPU may speed up supported indexing. The installer recommends at least 8 GB of RAM for meaning search; below that, meaning search is not selected by default and may be slow. |
| Storage and download | Meaning search downloads an additional pack of about 2 GB. The index uses local storage and grows with the sources you index. The minimum free space for the base installation and a usable index has not yet been fixed, so checkout will stay closed until a tested figure is published. |
| Internet and licence checks | Activation, deactivation and periodic paid-licence checks need internet access. After a successful check, paid features have a 10-day offline grace period. If no successful check occurs within 10 days, paid features fall back to Free until the licence is confirmed again. Local files and the local index are not removed. |
| Technical protection | The licence key is bound to a hashed machine fingerprint. Pro covers up to 3 devices. Each Weave purchase is priced per licensed seat. The privacy policy lists the exact request fields. |
The complete table for the exact build will appear before the order button and in the confirmation email. Required information will not be left for a customer to request from support.
Subscriptions and renewal
Paid plans are subscriptions. Monthly plans renew monthly. Annual plans renew for a full year. When checkout reopens, the checkout, customer portal and renewal reminder will show the exact renewal date, time and time zone, the renewal price and how to cancel.
Before an annual renewal, we will email at least 7 days before the renewal time. We will also give any earlier, additional or more frequent notice required by the law then in force. A proposed price change will be notified before it applies and will not change a period already paid for.
The new UK subscription-contract rules are expected to start in spring 2027, but their final detail depends on secondary legislation. Checkout will not reopen until the sales flow meets the rules in force at that time. This includes required key and full pre-contract information, reminders, an easy online exit, cancellation confirmation, end-of-contract notices, renewal cooling-off notices and any cooling-off right after an annual renewal.
Stopping renewal
When checkout reopens, every purchaser will receive a tested Stripe customer-portal link. You will be able to cancel there in one clear online step without contacting support. The portal will show the exact renewal timestamp, time zone and paid-access end date, and will give a confirmation you can keep.
You may also email support@latticesearch.app. A clear email instructing us to stop renewal is effective as a cancellation request; we will confirm the end date in writing. If it reaches our support inbox before the exact renewal time shown in the portal and reminder, it stops that renewal. We will use the time the email reaches the inbox, not the time a member of staff processes it. Uninstalling the app or deactivating a device does not cancel billing.
Ordinary cancellation stops future renewals. Paid access continues to the end of the paid period unless a narrow revocation ground below applies. Your statutory rights may require a refund, price reduction or different end date.
Suspension and revocation
When checkout reopens, licence enforcement will permit us to end paid access early only after a refund, a chargeback, fraud, or a demonstrable material breach of the licence terms. Each restriction will have a recorded reason. Where practicable, we will first email the reason and the steps to put matters right. Suspected misuse alone is not enough.
You may make representations, contest a restriction and ask for meaningful human intervention by emailing us. A person will examine the information, can reverse the restriction and will explain the result. If a key was restricted in error, we will reinstate it promptly. If contracted access was wrongly withheld, we will provide the refund or price reduction required by law. The full 10-day offline grace period will be preserved independently of licence-server availability; a server outage will not shorten it.
Consumer cancellation rights
A consumer buying at a distance normally has 14 days, starting the day after the contract is made, to cancel without giving a reason. Digital content can start during that period only after the consumer expressly asks for immediate supply and acknowledges that the cancellation right will be lost once supply begins.
When checkout reopens, that choice will use a separate box that is not ticked in advance. We will store an immutable record of the consent text, its version, the timestamp and time zone, and the order ID. We will send that record in the durable confirmation email and will block delivery of the download and licence key until the email has been sent. Reading these terms, paying or installing does not by itself give that consent. If the legal conditions are not met, we will not treat the right as lost.
Email is the quickest way to cancel. You can paste the model form on the cancellation and refund page into an email. No signature is needed by email. Stopping renewal and using a statutory cancellation right are different actions, so say if you want both.
Refunds, faults and legal rights
There is no pro-rata refund for ordinary mid-term cancellation or unused days. This does not limit any right to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction for faulty content, non-supply, valid statutory cancellation, wrongly withheld access or another legal reason. Consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unchanged.
Complaints and law
Email support@latticesearch.app with your purchase reference, what went wrong and the outcome you want. Do not include card details or search files. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, investigate it, keep you appropriately informed and communicate the outcome without undue delay.
The contract is governed by the law of England and Wales. Businesses agree to the courts of England and Wales. For consumers, this does not remove mandatory rights in the country where they live or any court right available under applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
